Boardgame

Between January 2016 and May 2017 in collaboration with SJSU A/I lecturer, Owen Aurelio we created the board game, In Tenebris Lux, and ran a successful Kickstarter campaign raising over $30,000.
Another friend, James Burkhouse, worked with Owen and I to develop the rules over the course of the year.

Here is a review of the game after it was published  https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/219988/tenebris-lux

An example of the game being played

All the Art below I created (except for one of the printed characters as noted.
An equal amount was created by Owen Aurelio but is not shown here.

Explorers are chosen from a deck of Character Cards

Starting equipment is chosen at random from the Equipment Deck

The equipment is placed next to the Explorer as indicated by the symbols

Cards are drawn from the Dungeon Deck and placed om the table forming a dungeon.

Monsters appear throughout the dungeon as the explorers try to fulfil quests drawn at random

3d Printed characters were optionally available. I sculpted and printed the models except for the one in the left lower corner. a colleague, Jon Galabias, sculpted that one and  I printed it.
